The shutout was Penn State’s first in almost two seasons and the victory makes the Lions bowl eligible at 6-1; but there is still plenty of work to be done beyond week seven.

The 338 rushing yards were a season high for Penn State, a team which had been struggling to gain yards on the ground for the first four games of the year.
