When Against the Spread was started, we anticipated many football posts and then random fillers to get us to the following August. Since writing has begun, we’ve had a Big Ten Championship in football, a surprise run by the Eagles in the NFL and a World Championship in baseball. It is important to note that our favorite teams include the footballers and the Phillies.
One thing that has changed more frequently then anything else has been the banner at the top of the page. It started off as a mix of Phillies, Eagles and Penn Staters and then transformed to our second original, to the Phillies, then the Big Ten Champs and finally the Rose Bowl header (our personal favorite).
